The Project Officer is a critical position within the Housing Policy Directorate Office.

The role provides support to a number of critical government meetings, including secretariat services, coordinating papers, organising venues, catering, agendas, minute taking and travel and accommodation arrangements.

The role also supports other areas of the Branch in coordinating briefs and correspondence, procurement and support for special projects as required.

The position regularly liaises with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and operates with professionalism, initiative, and collaboration.


ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  • Provide support for critical government meetings, secretariat services, coordinating papers, organising venues, catering, agendas, minute taking and travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Assist in providing advice to stakeholders and assisting in the coordination, preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on a range of matters.
  • Maintain information and records using departmental administrative and business support systems following procedures for electronic filing, tracking, and actioning of correspondence and other business functions.
