This highly impactful and well-established NGO is making a huge contribution to addressing the issue of family violence in the community.


Rich in history they are recognised across the country for providing case management undertaking research and advocacy and running community-based projects.


The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager this role holds responsibly for successful program delivery.

As the Project Officer, you'll work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including working directly with women and children moving beyond family violence, project planning, development and implementation, reporting, supporting fundraising and grants initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Project manage the development and implementation of the program's business plan and program of activities.
  • Serve as the primary contact with clients, acting as the key liaison for all project activities.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships with relevant external agencies and individuals to support key areas of the program.
  • Ensure accurate reporting for program performance.
  • Endtoend project management, including project performance, recommendations for improvements, reporting and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Support quality monitoring and evaluation practices into all aspects of the program, including participant feedback and data collection.
  • Liaise closely with Management and work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure high quality project delivery.
  • Support with fundraising and grants initiatives

Skills and Experience

We're looking for someone with high level project coordination experience, ideally working with refugee and migrant communities, including project design and implementation, budgeting, reporting and evaluation.


Your strong PC skills ability to plan and manage multiple tasks and highly developed written and verbal communication skills will be essential.

Knowledge and experience in the family violence sector would be highly regarded.
