Our client is a community focused Federal Government Agency. They have an exciting opportunity available for multiple APS4 Project Officer's to join the Participant Experience Delivery Group in supporting the meaningful engagement of Participants of the scheme.

Labour Hire hourly rate contract spanning an initial 12 months, with the opportunity to extend. Offering an hourly rate of $ Superannuation, to be based out of our client's Broadmeadows location.

On offer is 2 days working from home, with 3 on site.

About the role

The APS4 Project Officer is a team membership position that will work within defined parameters relating to their area of responsibility. It will apply well-established policy, principles, practices and procedures to achieve outcomes that supports and contributes to Agency's objectives.

The position will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge and may undertake some research and analysis activities.

The APS4 Project Officer will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex enquiries.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the development and management of project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency's project management framework.
  • Providing advice, procedural guidance and administrative support to staff and stakeholders.
  • Assisting with research and analysis on relevant project activities.
  • Assisting and supporting regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
  • Assisting in drafting project documentation for review by senior staff.
  • Assisting with monitoring project budgets, reporting on expenditure and reconciling payments.
  • Building rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships to support the delivery of projects.

About you

  • Australian citizenship is a requirement to be eligible for this position
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and the MS 365 suite
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams environments
  • Written communication skills
  • Process mapping & documentation
  • Data entry
  • Working autonomously/self-motivated
  • Familiarity with Power Automate & VBA/Query's (desirable, not a deal breaker)
  • Background in data analysis and business intelligence (desirable, not a deal breaker)
