Marketing Assistants/Coordinators (Marketing & Communications)

About the role

As the Social Media & Marketing Assistant you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling content, optimising company pages, and nurturing online community engagement. Reporting to the Marketing & Events Lead, you will be executing social media content across various channels and assisting the team with marketing events and projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Analysing social data for quarterly and campaign reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to gather content that aligns with our social media strategy.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video) that aligns with our workplace values, missions and goals.
  • Establish and enhance company pages on all platforms to boost social content visibility.
  • Manage community interactions across all social media channels, ensuring all messages and comments are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the development of social media calendars.
  • Support the marketing team with projects and events.
  • Continuously improve performance by capturing and analysing relevant social data/metrics, insights and industry best practices.

About You

  • Degree or Certificate in Marketing/Communications or similar.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency editing photo and video content.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools and online marketing
  • Positive attitude and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and work autonomously.
  • Experience in a similar role (desirable but not necessary)
