Your Opportunity

Join our team in Osborne Park as the Engineering Manager, where you will lead the engineering and maintenance functions.

Your main responsibility is to enhance maintenance performance, minimize unplanned downtime, and oversee capital management for the site.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering team to optimize site efficiency and performance
  • Ensure safety and quality practices are integrated into all maintenance activities
  • Implement robust maintenance standards to uphold Ingham's asset management
  • Manage maintenance activities effectively to reduce downtime
  • Develop and execute capital plans for asset replacement and plant reliability improvement
  • Oversee budget control and seek approval for expenditures
  • Establish and enforce safety standards
  • Provide leadership through coaching and delegation
  • Ensure compliance with animal welfare, health, safety, and quality standards
  • Implement strategies to enhance workforce efficiency and productivity
  • Establish procedures for animal welfare, food safety, and quality

  • Experience in leading engineering and maintenance teams
  • Knowledge of site services such as refrigeration, compressed air, and wastewater treatment
  • Skills in TPM, LEAN/Six Sigma, or CMMS
  • Proven abilities in maintenance practices and performance improvement
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Capability to develop and influence relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to coach, develop, and provide feedback
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Capacity to execute short and long-term strategies
