Job Summary:

Key Accountabilities:

  • Design and Build Database systems of high availability in accordance with the prescribed requirements.
  • Configure database servers, install server software, and monitor system health.
  • Design backup processes for server and associated data.
  • Define and create user accounts and assign security levels.
  • Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards and disaster recovery protocol.
  • Development and implementation of technical solutions (DB Implementations, Upgrades, Migrations and Decommission) and support with ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience with AWS' Relational Database Service (RDS) and Azure SQL Database or Azure Database for MySQL.
  • Excellent knowledge of database design, data backup, recovery, security, and integrity.
  • Have proven ability to operate in complex heterogeneous IT landscapes across an Enterprise.
