Big Ant Studios are looking for a highly talented and motivated Sound Designer to
play a key role in the studio.

Join us in making some of consoles and PCs biggest sports titles from our centrally
located Melbourne studio.

We are looking for a highly talented and motivated individual to work on our sports
titles at our Melbourne Studio.

Sound Designers and Audio Engineers of all experience levels are encouraged to
apply. Please highlight what you believe to be your strengths and how you expect
they will relate to what we do here at Big Ant.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and managing sound assets for our games using a Digital Audio
Workstation

  • Managing and implementing sound assets using Wwise
  • Implementation and testing of sound design within our code base
  • Recording sound effects and dialogue on location or in a sound studio

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated sound design aesthetic and ability
  • Experience in game audio or a related field
  • Working knowledge of Audiokinetic Wwise
  • Experience with Izotope RX
  • Field recording and studio recording experience

Bonus Skill & Experience:

  • Some knowledge of a programming language (particularly Lua)
  • Proficiency with Pro Tools
  • Knowledge of sports is a bonus but not required
  • Experience with git and/or version control software
  • Extensive experience with Excel/Google Sheets

You Will Have:

  • The ability to be meticulous when dealing with all aspects of the pipeline.
  • Good communication and the ability to take and respond to feedback from
others
