We are currently looking for Intern Pharmacists to work inMetropolitan Melbourne for 2025.

Intern Pharmacists at National Pharmacies:

Are assigned to experienced preceptors providing daily guidanceand development opportunitiesTake part in store rotations, to experience a differentoperating environmentParticipate in two full day off site workshops with guestspeakers on a range of subjectsExam preparation workshopsAre exposed to a wide range of products and services (sleepapnoea, vaccinations, dose administration aids, medschecksetc.)Have opportunities for ongoing employment after successfulgeneral registration.

Intern Pharmacists are critical in enabling us to fulfil ourpurpose because they:

Provide extraordinary customer service and consult with ourcustomers, to ensure they get the most appropriate advice for theirhealth needs. Provide patient-centred care to our customers and members Are team players and have a willingness to learn Assist the pharmacist to ensure our customers' prescriptionsare processed correctly and efficiently Demonstrate the value of National Pharmacies membership to ourcustomers.

People who excel as National Pharmacies Intern Pharmacistsconsistently demonstrate:

The ability to convert their university studies into practicalworkplace skillsA genuine desire to work in Community PharmacyThe ability to think quickly, communicate with ourmembers/customers and offer solutions in the delivery of frontlineprimary health care in a varied and customer-focused environment.

Students with frontline customer service experience will behighly regarded.
