About The Role...


Working as part of a small but vibrant and energetic team you will be responsible for delivering incremental margin growth by introducing robust quotation tools and processes, defining, and enforcing pricing floor levels, re calibrating price files, and providing pricing support and advice to sales staff and management.

Some of the main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Co-ordinate internal proposal and pricing reviews, whilst maintaining records in both current and historical price points
  • Build and maintain a database of customer discounts by product suite to provide prompt data query to staff when negotiating price
  • Tracking, reviewing and monitoring market pricing within segments and total customer revenue to provide Area Managers with pricing data to support pricing decisions.
  • Providing effective coordination in the execution of proposal activities including and not limited to budgets, historical pricing, margin improvement.
  • Utilise Alspec ERP systems and reporting tools to provide management real time reporting data.
  • Provide data dashboards to management as instructed daily, monthly.
  • Assist with general ledger and cost investigations as instructed.
  • Improve the business pricing function through best practice, process management, mentoring and educating others in margin and price negotiations.
  • Demonstrate experience in overcoming negative behaviours and response to poor pricing disciplines.
  • Follow up on negative, low margin negotiations and implement processes to reduce or remove in future

About You...
This is an extremely busy role and requires someone who thrives on working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.

Applicants will also need to have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, Commerce or Finance disciplines
  • Strong Understanding of Mathematics.
  • An analytical mind
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Don't worry if you do not have any direct experience in this field as full training will be provided.

More important that you are analytically minded and methodical problem solver with advanced excel skills and the capability to understand and interpret technical data from system end users.


You will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing and must have contactable work references.
