About the opportunity


This is an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for a suitably experienced and qualified professional to work within Council's Workers Compensation team.


The successful applicant will:

  • Plan, organise and coordinate rehabilitation related activities as required to rehabilitate Councils injured/ill employees after a workrelated injury/illness.
  • Provide effective communications networks for early injury management and administration of occupation rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications and experience

Essential:

  • Relevant qualifications with a minimum of Certificate IV in WHS or a related discipline
  • Solid administrative experience
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft software
  • Current Class "C" driver's licence.

Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council's Enterprise Agreement.

  • Entry level for this position starts at $1,342.43 per week
  • 35 hour working week
  • Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement
  • Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 10.5% employer superannuation contribution payable to Active Superannuation Scheme, Fitness Passport and gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
