The Role

We're seeking a Account Director/Client Partner to manage a number of clients across creative, content and publishing in retail, financial services and other categories. Alongside a mix of advertising and content clients, it's an opportunity to work on a longstanding custom magazine with one of the largest circulations in Australia. You'll be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a smooth and successful process across delivery for both print and digital.

Responsibilities

  • Building and growing profitable client relationships
  • Act as the main liaison between the agency, client, and all external vendors including production and distribution partners
  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for all projects, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Manage and coordinate contributions from all stake holders
  • Oversee project workflows including editorial and social calendar
  • Review and provide feedback
  • Proofreading and QA
  • Prepare reports and track project budgets

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in content
  • An understanding of the print publishing process, from concept to completion
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Proficient in project management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for high-quality design, editorial and content

Bonus Points

  • Experience working with creative teams (producers, directors, writers, designers, photographers)
  • Prior experience managing a magazine account
