POSITION OVERVIEW
The role of a Services Manager at Hickory is central in overseeing and coordinating the diverse service disciplines crucial to our construction projects' success. This position plays a key role in ensuring seamless integration and effective execution of services from project initiation to completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the services design process from pre-planning to construction.
  • Provide guidance on design considerations during pre-construction and build feasibility.
  • Offer insights on value management and project specifications.
  • Assist in subcontracting main services trades and develop detailed work programs.
  • Lead and mentor services team, ensuring seamless coordination between disciplines.
  • Collaborate with key suppliers for timely equipment delivery and installation.
  • Plan and review project status related to services disciplines.
  • Address services issues and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Supervise subcontractors' work for quality, adherence to schedules, and completion.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure a safe working environment.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE
  • Possess qualifications in Building and Construction or relevant field.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Show attention to detail, effective time management, and organizational abilities.
  • Hold stakeholders accountable for time, cost, safety, and quality aspects.
  • Inspire and mentor direct reports, working collaboratively within a team.
  • Work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative as needed.
  • Coordinate conceptual designs effectively and prioritize project needs.
  • Have a thorough understanding of site documentation and specifications.
