About the opportunity
We are searching for a self-motivated relationship expert.

Someone that is focused on the care of their existing clients, whilst also focused on the activities that lead to new client acquisition.

As
Private Banker - Acquisition (Melbourne) , you will play an integral role in the lives of our existing clientele, whilst also shaping the future of Commonwealth Private by playing a pivotal role in our strategy.

This is a role that requires expert knowledge of lending, a solid understanding of what the high net worth community expect from a financial services provider, and the ability to grow your network in within this community (particularly in the professional services industry).


In the role you will:

  • Look after a growing portfolio of clients, with a focus on achieving exceptional NPS (net promoter score) to build client advocacy for the brand.
  • Source and acquire new business, leveraging the strategic framework applicable to the target industry (professional services).
  • Provide clients with a full range of financial services, products and innovative solutions with a strong focus on wealth protection, creation, and revenue growth.
  • Deliver our client value proposition of outstanding service, tailored advice and exclusive opportunities;
  • Nurture a network of local internal and external contacts to assist with the origination of new business, new clients and the gathering of competitive intelligence;
  • Have an understanding of the workings and key industry contacts with the Australian professional services community.
  • Understand and operate within relevant Regulatory and Compliance legislative/frameworks.

About you
To be successful you will be caring, innovative, driven, analytical, and quick to learn.

In addition, you will have:

  • Relationship management and networking experience within Private Banking, Premier Banking, Business Banking or similar.
  • Strong experience in residential, and have had exposure to commercial lending, including complex lending structures.
  • A demonstrated ability to develop new networks and maintain effective relationships with high net worth clients.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business or related fields (desirable)
  • RG146 (desirable)
