A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a talented individual to join the Stock Control team at ARB Welshpool.

This position requires a customer centric focus as you will be the primary contact to facilitate the movement of stock to fulfill customer requirements, alongside providing support for our Welshpool branch network.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to learn the ins and outs of supply chain, learn more about ARB and get amongst a dynamic team.


General responsibilities include:

  • Process transfers/requisitions for branch orders.
  • Engage with other departments to follow up overdue products/orders.
  • Investigate and respond to branch queries.
  • Reviewing store backorders and coordinating return of stock from alternate locations.
  • Assisting with the return of stock back to DC location.
  • Analysing reports on branch stock inventory.
  • Interest in inventory management/purchasing with a focus on delivering the best outcomes for stakeholders.
  • Display excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customerfocused working environment.
  • Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative and drive, whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Oracle (JD Edwards Enterprise One) and OBIEE experience preferred.
