About the role:


We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients attending the The Kinghorn Cancer Centre Wellness Centre.

The position is the first point of contact for patients attending the Centre and for practitioners who are contracted to provide services.

The Wellness Centre provides provides individual complementary medicine services such as Exercise Physiology, Oncology Massage and Reflexology as well as group programs including Art Therapy and Meditation.

The role is responsible for invoicing, billing and appointment scheduling.

The Admin Officer will assist with the engagement of new practitioners and with the promotion of Wellness Centre programs for cancer patients.

  • Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia
  • Demonstrated experience providing high level administration and/or secretarial support and/or attainment of relevant qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in a health and/or hospital and/or medical related environment with an understanding of the importance of policies, procedures and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements around complementary therapies and allied health funding models
  • Understanding of principles of financial management such as invoicing and billing
