Location: Menindee, Albury or Leeton are preferred locations, also open to considering Parramatta

Salary: $81,699 base + super

Tenure: Full-Time, 4 Months Max Term (with potential for further extension after 4 months to work part-time 2 days a week)

What we are looking for:

  • A strong desire to contribute your skills and expertise to our business
  • Someone who is of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander decent / identifies as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and is accepted as such by the community in which they were born, has lived or currently lives
  • A commitment to promoting and preserving Aboriginal culture and value
  • Demonstrated office management experience and sound organisational, analytical and time management skills
  • Good l interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in the use of TRIM, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

What you will work on:

  • Manage & maintain routine financial transactions and purchasing services, ensuring compliance with WaterNSW standards, procedures, and contractual obligations.
  • Provide accurate and timely business and administrative support functions to managers and staff, including document control management and functions to support the project delivery effort.
  • Coordinate and facilitate business support meetings, take minutes, and follow up actions as required.
  • Support tasks allocated by the team leaders to support management to ensure deadlines are met and undertake improvements where required.
  • Establish and maintain effective working networks and communication relationships with staff within the team and WaterNSW, including the onboarding and offboarding of Asset Delivery Staff.
