About The Role
As a Home Care Worker, you will provide personalized support to older Australians in Cootamundra and nearby areas, helping them live independently. Travel between clients' homes is required.
This casual position offers daytime hours from Monday to Friday with no evening or overnight shifts. Join a leading social purpose provider with a supportive leadership team. Ideal for those wanting to make a positive impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Build positive client relationships
- Assist with domestic tasks like meal preparation and light cleaning
- Provide personal care such as grooming and showering
- Support community access to medical appointments and social activities
- Assist with daily tasks and routines
Skills & Experience
- Passionate about creating positive change in the aging community
- Australian Driver's License and access to a registered vehicle
- Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate required before employment
Successful candidates undergo pre-employment checks, including a National Criminal History Record Check.
