This leadership opportunity will report directly into the Operations Director and be responsible for leading and co-ordinating a team of water professionals to ensure the highest level of service delivery is provided to our water industry partners.

The successful candidate will ideally be based in the Perth Metro / Peel Region but for the right applicant options for remote work from other parts of Australia will be available.

The role is ideally suited to an individual seeking the opportunity to develop their career within the water industry by supporting clients to navigate their water risk management journey.


Key Skills:
Demonstrated leadership experience in high performing team/sApplicable degree in Science and/or Engineering with appropriate work experienceAt least10 yrs experience in Water Risk Management / Consulting, Water Utilities or related fieldInterest and passion for water and/or public healthExemplary interpersonal and communication style with a desire to develop personally and professionallyProven resourcefulness and problem solving abilitiesProven project and or contract management and partner management acumenExperience with consultative working relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersAbility to work alone and as well as part of a TeamExemplary proficiencyin excel and Microsoft Office Suite anddatabase use and managementExcellent time management, proven ability to prioritise and the ability to multi-taskSound administrative and self-management skills, including the ability to work to deadlines and resolve challenges quickly and professionallyHealthcare experience (desirable)

Business development skills and experience (desirable)Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting contract partners to navigate their water risk management journey to ensure compliance with regulations and to manage water related risks effectivelyCo-ordinate and where required execute contract-based work packs such as:

Site Inspections (Technical Assessments and/or Risk Assessment)Water quality investigations, results management and reportingWater quality event/incident managementRisk based multi criteria analysisand/or options assessmentCapital and operational budget planningPrioritisation of operational & maintenance tasks to meet water quality objectives.

Lead strategic development of water partner relationships in key regions of Australia, Singapore and New ZealandOversee all operational aspects of the Contracts department.

Ensure financial performance and budget adherence within the Contracts DepartmentProvide regular performance reporting and drive continuous improvement initiatives (internal & external)Delivery of expected milestones, subcontractor management and delivery of concise, accurate and timely written and verbal reports to internal and external stakeholdersInput into technical positions within the businessManagement and growth of internal and external stakeholder relationships including regulatorsEnsuring implementation and adherenceto client and internal procedures and work instructionsUnderstand and utilise water quality compliance software and other innovative tools to continually improve partner experience and internal simplicity.
