Principal Environmental Consultant Opportunity

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Principal Environmental Consultant to join a leading multidisciplinary Civil and Environmental Consultancy in Perth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Hydrology or Hydrogeology and experience working for a UK-based Consultancy or Water Company on hydrology, hydrogeology, peat EIA, water supply assessments, and water quality assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop surface water management plans to ensure effective water resource management.
  2. Conduct nutrient neutrality assessments to mitigate environmental impacts.
  3. Perform water quality assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Complete peat EIAs to inform sustainable development decisions.
  5. Conduct GWDTE assessments to ensure compliance with regulations.
  6. Perform water supply assessments to identify potential risks.
  7. Carry out watercourse crossing surveys to ensure safe and efficient infrastructure development.
  8. Create peat management plans to mitigate environmental risks.
  9. Conduct peat hazard landslide risk assessments to inform land-use planning decisions.
  10. Mentor team members to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development.
  11. Monitor and create solutions to alleviate pollution issues.
