Role Purpose:

About this opportunity
We are looking for an Administrator, Payroll reporting to the Head of Remuneration and Reward this role involves:

  • Assisting with administering high-volume payrolls (weekly/ fortnightly reconciliation & consolidation and processing support as required).
  • Checking and auditing of all payrolls, ensuring legislative & award compliance (including tax compliance, superannuation etc.).
  • Ensuring compliance with taxation and superannuation changes and the financial implications in respect to payroll.

About you

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience with computerised payroll systems and knowledge of rostering and timekeeping systems.
  • Experience in the processing of payroll and associated records including superannuation and relevant taxation legislation.
  • Experience in dealing with confidential personnel and / or business records
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of operations of an HRMIS system
  • Working knowledge of payroll reporting and automated time keeping systems.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and strong proficiency in MS Office suite particularly Excel.
