This is an exciting opportunity to join our Queensland Real Estate Management Services (REMS) team and work on our Brisbane Commercial portfolio.


This position would ideally suit someone who has previously worked in commercial facilities management (or similar) and has the ability to manage their time efficiently.

There is a requirement for travelling between allocated assets, such as for the management of contractors, tenants and to conduct inspections.

The role is based out of one of the allocated CBD assets with the Brisbane Head Office resources close by for assistance.


The key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain the assets, plant, and equipment to ensure optimal asset performance, efficiency, life cycle planning and functionality
  • Drive best practice by collaborating, managing, and administering the Colliers
  • Nationally driven comprehensive compliance program, particularly in regardsto essential services and risk management for critical site operations, it's occupants and processes.
  • Manage the relevant budget expenditure for the assets in collaboration with the property management team.
  • Procure and negotiate service maintenance contracts, facilitate and manage services tenders / RFP's,
  • Provide expenditure and performance data for regular monthly and quarterly reporting requirements to clients.
  • Actively maintain compliance with regardto OH&S obligations, completing audits and reviews as required by Colliers, the client and the relevant legislation

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills and the ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders including tenants, team members and clients
  • Good problemsolving skills and able to resolve issues quickly and autonomously
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional certifications (preferred but not essential)
  • Knowledge of industry best practice, sustainability, and legislative compliance
  • Good building services, operational and technical knowledge with risk management experience
