Our client is looking for a skilled Financial Controller to become part of their team. This role is a great chance to manage all financial aspects, from budgeting to reporting. What you'll be responsible for:
As the Financial Controller, you'll be a key player in shaping the financial path of the client's business. Your tasks will range from budgeting and forecasting to overseeing financial reporting. Your expertise in creating and upholding internal controls will be vital in safeguarding company assets and ensuring financial rule compliance. Through analyzing intricate financial data, you'll offer strategic suggestions to drive business growth. Your role will also cover managing month-end and year-end closing procedures, preparing financial statements, and conducting variance analysis.

Your qualifications:
The perfect candidate for the Financial Controller position comes with a solid finance background. You should hold a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Having a CPA or CMA certification would be beneficial. With over five years of experience in financial planning and analysis, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity, you should be adept at interpreting complex financial data. Your expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting will set you apart. Strong communication skills are crucial for effectively sharing strategic recommendations with senior management.
- Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
- 5+ years of financial planning and analysis experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: AUD95,000 - AUD120,000 per year + Super
