The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Advanced Training Team and to coordinate administrative duties in relation to the Training Services Team (Advanced Training) including but not limited to the below:

  • Administrative support to the Advanced Training Team (Program Teams)
  • Responding to member enquiries
  • Creating and maintaining electronic and hardcopy records
  • Identifying areas for process improvement
  • Other administrative assistance as required
  • Other projects as required
  • Supporting Training Services SEOs and Managers as required

Desired Skills and Experience:

Essential Criteria

  • Professional experience preferably in medical or other education/health programs or in a memberbased organisation
  • Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, managing a range of complex tasks in a changing work environment while maintaining an attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with own and other teams
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with a range of external and internal stakeholders
  • Certificate IV or Diploma of Business Administration or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge and skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working with health service providers
  • Understanding of postgraduate medical education, training, assessment and accreditation
  • Experience in delivering professional client and secretariat services, including high level written and verbal communication skills, business writing and presentations
