About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, proactive, and results-focused Account Manager. We are looking for a motivated individual to drive new accounts and the ongoing management of existing Lifeblood teams to support the achievement of collection targets for our Brisbane donor centre.

Reporting directly to the Regional Partnerships Manager, you will play an essential role in building relationships between external organisations and Lifeblood's local Donor Centre to ensure the acquisition and retention of Donors. This will be achieved through building successful networks and relationships with key brands, businesses, government, education, and community organisations. To meet the targets, you will work with multiple stakeholders to plan, execute, and support regional partnerships and community engagement activities.

  • A proven track record of B2B sales acquisition with extensive experience in business account management, business development or corporate sales
  • A passion for developing new businesses and proven experience in territory planning, pipeline management and implementing engaging activities to attract and retain customers
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build successful business relationships
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a solid ability to engage, influence and build rapport
  • Great organisational skills and time management with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks - you thrive on variety and challenge
  • A confident presenter, able to deliver professional presentations to a variety of audiences
  • Be able to attend event activities occasionally outside business hours, i.e., assist with events and acquisitions in Brisbane and beyond where business needs are required.
  • A valid driver's license is a must

This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract covering a secondment; however, if it would suit you better, this role could support 4-day part-time. The position is in Brisbane, Queensland, driving collection targets for the Brisbane donor centre.
