Are you ready to take charge of a high-volume Accounts Payable function and be part of a leading trans-Tasman dental group?


Abano Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Accounts Payable Manager to join our team of over 2000 professionals across 270+ practices, including renowned brands: Maven Dental, 1300SMILES Dentists in Australia, and Lumino The Dentists in New Zealand.

As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our end-to-end Accounts Payable process.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to maintain accurate records.
  • Proactively follow up on any missing invoices.
  • Investigate and resolve APrelated queries promptly.
  • Prepare supplier payments efficiently.
  • Oversee and manage the vendor Masterfile.
  • Identify process gaps and lead the implementation of improvements.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
You will also be instrumental in proposing and implementing process improvements to deliver timely and accurate AP services.

You
To excel in this role, you should bring the following qualities and experience:

  • Significant experience in managing Accounts Payable processes.
  • Familiarity with Dayforce or similar systems is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in driving system improvements.
  • Thrive in a fastpaced environment with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to motivate and lead the AP team to achieve outstanding results.
  • Excellent relationshipbuilding skills with suppliers.
  • Strong prioritisation and multitasking abilities.
  • A keen eye for detail and exceptional time management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
