About Us

Multicom Resources Pty Ltd is developing the Saint Elmo Project which will involve the construction of a mine, concentrator and two refineries on site 15km east of Julia Creek. The refineries will produce the critical minerals of Vanadium and High Purity Alumina.

Our goal is for all full time operations personnel to live local in the Julia Creek region.

We are the only Australian company capable of producing Vanadium and HPA with Government Environment Authority and Mining Leases Approved. We will be integral to Australia's battery revolution as Australia's leading vanadium and HPA proponent.

Multicom Resources can be described as an exploration and mineral processing company focused on the discovery and development of world class mineral deposits and has several tenements in addition to Saint Elmo. The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Health, Safety, and Training Advisor to join our Team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of our team members at the Saint Elmo Mine. Your expertise will be vital in providing training and guidance on safety procedures, conducting audits, and continuously improving our safety standards. If you have a strong background in health and safety, a passion for training, and a dedication to maintaining a safe work environment, we want you on our team

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Identify potential hazards and risks to health and safety arising from the work conducted at the St Elmo mine.
  • Provide professional, timely and accurate guidance and support in WHS matters to the Site Senior Executive.
  • Lead the development, implementation and ongoing review of key learning and development initiatives aimed at enhancing the participants experience and learning outcomes.
  • Investigate, or assist in the investigation of any incidents.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate safety records.
  • Coach and develop leaders in the risk assessment process and incident investigations, providing advice, support and coaching to site personnel as required.

What you will require:

  • Certificate IV or Higher in WHS or relevant tertiary qualification
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience in Health, Safety or Training Related field
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessing (desirable)
  • Drug and Alcohol Tester Certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Resource Industry, Trade or Operational background
  • Strong Data Entry Skills
  • Open Drivers Licence
  • Ability to satisfactory meet requirements of Pre-Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen
