Role Summary:

The Mechanical Technical Officer position is now available at our Kwinana Power Station. The role involves high-level technical and supervisory tasks related to the operation and maintenance of the Kwinana Gas Turbine Plants.

Reporting to the Technical Team Lead, the Technical Officer (Kwinana) will oversee planned maintenance, corrective actions, and outage projects at the Kwinana / Cockburn Gas Generation site.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Operate and maintain Kwinana and Cockburn Gas Generation facilities
  • Plan, supervise, and coordinate activities for equipment installation, operation, and repair
  • Conduct technical inspections, prepare reports, and manage maintenance projects
  • Assess designs, calculations, and specifications for maintenance and repair tasks

What you'll bring:

  • Certificate IV or higher in Mechanical discipline
  • Trade certificate in Mechanical discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Gas Turbines or power plant operations
  • Knowledge of inspection practices, equipment maintenance, and repair
  • Expertise in Power Generation equipment maintenance and operation
