A great opportunity awaits you as an In-House Service Engineer/Technical Support Advisor due to our continuous growth. This role is perfect for individuals at the beginning of their career who have recently completed a relevant Electronics or Electrical qualification and possess excellent computer and administrative skills. Whether you are a college graduate or an aspiring electrician, this position could be ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of service contact via phone or email.
  • Prepare quotes for ongoing work.
  • Coordinate with clients, Service Manager, and Office Administrators to ensure timely and friendly customer communication.
  • Conduct fault finding and diagnostics, ensuring all issues are resolved and tested thoroughly.
  • Repair mechanical systems using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Replace circuit boards as needed.
  • Generate service reports in PDF or Word format for customer understanding.
  • Maintain accurate stock records to track used parts and order replacements efficiently.
  • Perform off-site work when necessary, alongside the VS Service Engineer.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualified in Electronic Technology or Electrical Engineering (Level 3).
  • Proficient in Electrotechnical installation and maintenance (Level 3).
  • Knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Dedication to achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective fault diagnosis and repair instructions.
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently with guidance from the Service Manager.
  • Experience in mechanical fault finding and logical thinking skills.
