CLINICAL TRIAL COORDINATOR
2 x Fixed Term - Part Time (32 hours per fortnight each)
We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing clinical trials team
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse to join our clinical trials team as a Clinical Trial Coordinator at our Wonthaggi Campus. The Clinical Trial Coordinator is a key member of our research team contributing to the successful execution of clinical trials within the department.
If you have an ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team driven to provide best quality clinical-trial related care to our research participants and excellent organisational and communication skills we would love to hear from you.

About the Role
The Clinical Trial Coordinator:
Liaises between the principal investigator, Human Research Ethics Committee, and Research Governance Officer and works collaboratively with the governing body, clinical and non-clinical managers, clinicians, patients, trial participants, consumers and sponsors in the delivery of clinical trials. Ensures the highest standard of care is delivered to all clinical trial participants in partnership with members of the multidisciplinary and research teams.Collects and manages research dataCoordinates and manages concurrent clinical trialsMaintains ethics and governance approvalsManages regulatory documentation Ensures all clinical trials are performed in accordance with the study protocol and in line with regulatory, ethical and legal requirements as defined by; Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP), the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), the NHMRC Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research, and the applicable state/federal privacy laws, as well as BCH policies and standard operating procedures.About You
You must also meet the following requirements:
Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent)Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Minimum of 3 years nursing experienceAppropriate level of expertise gained from a combination of experience and or trainingDemonstrated ability to build and maintain working relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to work as an effective team member as well as the ability to exercise high levels of independence, judgement and initiativeHighly developed interpersonal and communication skillsHighly developed planning and organisational skills, with experience setting priorities, implementing improvements and meeting deadlines whilst working under pressureA demonstrated understanding of confidentiality, privacy and information handling principlesA demonstrated ability to work with sensitive information and maintain discretion at all timesAbility to be responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect clinical-trial-related care of patients and associated data collection for concurrent clinical trial research studies undertaken in the departmentWhat's in it for you?
