Clarence City Council, in Southern Tasmania, is transforming with the municipality and our workforce is growing and evolving.

We're seeking a Payroll Officer to join the team to support the efficient operations of the People, Safety and Culture Group by delivering a diverse range of payroll activities under the guidance of the Lead Payroll.


ABOUT YOU

  • Demonstrated knowledge of processes and legislation regarding payroll, taxation, superannuation, workers' compensation administration and an understanding of Awards and Agreements.
  • Welldeveloped digital literacy skills and the ability to adeptly use technology to facilitate service provision and collaborate with stakeholders as required.
  • Datadriven mindset with the ability to understand and interpret reports.
  • A strong capacity to manage time, set priorities and plan work to ensure set objectives are met in time and within budget.
