This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketer to join our high performing team as we are looking for our next Marketing Manager who will co-design and lead the delivery of RAC Insurance's marketing strategy.


The role will see you leading advertising campaigns (predominantly in TV/video, radio/audio and OOH formats), reviewing media proposals, working with data from research to inform decisions and staying on top of industry and competitor trends.


RAC Insurance is embarking on developing the next creative campaign; you will join at just the right time where your ideas and experience will help shape the forthcoming campaign approach.

As well as having a creative and strategic mindset, you will also have experience in leading high performing teams as the role currently has 3 direct reports spanning campaign management and marketing coordinator responsibilities.

This role is being offered as a permanent opportunity.

What will you be doing?

  • Working with Manager, Marketing & Communications to build and implement solutions in line with business strategy
  • Provide functional direction in developing strategies and tactical execution plans for a range of insurance products
  • Analysing competitor activity and identifying new marketing opportunities
  • Responsible for managing and monitoring the advertising component of the marketing budget
  • Conducting post implementation analysis/review to determine communication program effectiveness
  • Leading a team to be the best they can be each and every day
What are we looking for?

  • Significant experience in marketing, covering marketing communications, delivery and large campaigns
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing or a related discipline
  • Exceptional stakeholder management to manage expectations and deliverables
  • Selfmotivated individual with a proactive approach to time management, multitasking and prioritising workload to meet deadlines
  • People management experience is essential
