Job Summary:

As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and reviewing mechanical designs, creating 3D models, drawings, and project documentation. You will also be involved in quantity takeoff for estimations.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to design work within a small mechanical design group on medium-scale projects
  • Produce drawings and documentation following established mechanical design standards
  • Coordinate with Mechanical engineers and other designers to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, budget, and schedule requirements
  • Create high-quality output within project constraints

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency in design and drafting techniques, engineering drawings, and related disciplines
  • Experience in multi-discipline interface management and oversight of global 3D models
  • Ability to interpret various technical documents and drawings
  • Familiarity with engineering materials and design principles
  • Completion of specialized courses in drafting and design practices
  • Extensive background in design and drafting, with demonstrated senior-level expertise
