  • We are seeking a Brand & PR Manager to be part of the team at The Hoxton Charlottenburg in West Berlin.
  • Our first-ever Hoxton in Germany features 234 bedrooms, House of Tandoor Restaurant & Teahouse, lobby bar, streetside terrace, and The Apartment – a unique meetings and events concept.
  • The House of Tandoor restaurant combines North Indian communal eatery with classic European cuisine, offering a blend of tandoor ovens, Indian spices, prime meat cuts, and a lively atmosphere.
  • Located in Charlottenburg, you will report to the General Manager and collaborate with our global hotel and F&B marketing teams to strategize programming, manage PR locally and nationally, nurture relationships with our Hox Friends, uphold brand values, and enhance guest experience across all F&B outlets and rooms.
  • Your role involves keeping our spaces vibrant with collaborations, events, and parties, ensuring The Hoxton and House of Tandoor are consistently in the media, active on social platforms, and a go-to spot in the community.
  • Constantly seeking ways to elevate guest experiences, you will be proactive in identifying issues, developing creative ideas, and crafting partnerships to attract visitors to The Hoxton and House of Tandoor.


Job Description

  • Join the core team at The Hoxton Charlottenburg in Berlin, driving traffic to the hotel, restaurants, bars, and event spaces for a diverse audience.
  • Foster innovative strategies to meet branding and business objectives, establishing The Hoxton as a premier destination for various needs.
  • Implement a local PR strategy to maintain top-of-mind awareness for the property in media and among influencers, increasing exposure for The Hoxton to the German market.
  • Create engaging content and manage House of Tandoor's social channels in Berlin with support from our central comms team.
  • Build a community of loyal supporters, influencers, and professionals who advocate for The Hoxton and our restaurants.
  • Forge local partnerships and activations to reach new audiences and solidify the brand's position in the market.
  • Oversee local communications, contribute to our editorial platform, and collaborate with F&B, sales, and revenue teams to drive commercial targets.
  • Enhance the guest journey across all touchpoints, ensuring brand consistency and delivering personalized experiences.
  • Manage local marketing and design budgets, liaising with the GM to track and oversee expenditures.
  • Provide design briefs for local collateral and campaigns to our central Ennismore graphic design team.

Qualifications

  • We are looking for a proactive individual who thrives both independently and collaboratively.
  • A creative thinker with a proven track record in brand building and business growth in the German market.
  • Experience in PR with a strong network in Berlin to facilitate impactful collaborations.
  • A deep passion for the food & drink scene in Berlin is essential.
  • Ability to generate buzz and maintain a bustling destination restaurant environment.
  • Skilled in forming cultural partnerships, organizing events, and implementing marketing strategies to drive bookings and covers.
  • Excellent communicator fluent in German and English, adept at copywriting and managing social channels.
  • A robust network of local and international contacts across various industries.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • A visionary thinker who takes bold initiatives and inspires others to do the same.
