About the role:

Working closely alongside the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Indigenous Leadership, the Executive Officer position is pivotal in supporting and driving forward the Indigenous Leadership Strategy. This role provides a high-level executive support and assistance in strategic analysis, planning and project management, with an opportunity to influence and support positive change. You will also be responsible for preparation of reports, committee papers and high-level correspondence, operational support (including the Ngunnawal Centre) and administrative and financial management for the Office of Indigenous Leadership.

About you:

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a program/policy or an Executive Officer position working with Indigenous people. You will also have strong organisation skills, a detailed understanding of Indigenous culture and peoples and an ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders will be imperative in this role.

If you are an enthusiastic, energetic person with outstanding communication skills, and an understanding of how policy and strategy can create change, then this might be the perfect role for you.
