The Arcadia Group are owners and managers of premier retirement resorts located across Western Australia and Victoria, where our residents live independently, within a supported community environment.


Our two beautiful communities located in Melbourne, in the centrally located suburbs of Hawthorn East and Kew, are currently seeking applicants for a number of permanent part-time positions within our Reception / Concierge / Sleepover teams.

The Role:

Become part of our wonderful team of employees, and work in a great environment that encourages interaction with others. The duties are broad-ranged and are aligned to dedicated customer service professionals.

The include:

  • Being the first point of contact to welcome all customers, clients, friends and families to our communities
  • Assist our residents with their general enquiries
  • Maintaining the reception, lounge and café areas to be in immaculate condition
  • General office administration work when required
  • Assist residents with table bookings for our beautifully appointed restaurant
  • Assist with the communication of and bookings to our internal social events and functions
  • Undertaken minimum 2 evening/sleepover shifts per week
  • Attend to coordinating emergency services in emergency situations

Monday-Friday

  • Day shifts 9am to 5pm
  • Evening shifts 5pm to 9pm
  • Evening "Sleepover" (noncontact) shifts 9pm to 7am (mandatory)
  • Morning shifts 7am to 9am

Saturday-Sunday

  • Morning shifts 7am to Midday


Afternoon shifts
  • Midday to 5pm
  • Evening shifts 5pm to 9pm
  • Evening "Sleepover" (noncontact) shifts 9pm to 7am (mandatory)
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role or environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate (required)
  • Current Police Clearance Certificate, valid less than 3 months (required)
  • Fully vaccinated COVID19 Vaccination Certificate (required)
  • Experience with pointofsale systems and intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Barista knowledge highly regarded
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (required)


Whilst there are a number pre-requisites for this role, ultimately we are seeking persons with a background gained in roles aligned to hospitality, hotel concierge, nursing, airline and perhaps the defence forces.

$ $32.00 per hour
