Job Summary:


As the Financial Control Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial duties, including financial management reporting, auditing, budgeting, accounts payable and receivable, business forecasting, consolidation, stocktake, and payroll.

Beyond these financial responsibilities, you will also take on operational management tasks, ensuring smooth and streamlined business processes. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding day-to-day business decisions in both financial and operational aspects.

Responsibilities:

  • You will collaborate with jurisdictional managers to prepare, declare, finetune and update budgets for the business, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and operational needs.
  • You'll support the Head of Finance in budgeting, spending, reporting, and financial accountability on a global level.
  • You'll assist other Draslovka AgSol entities outside of AU/NZ with financerelated requests and reporting.
  • You support and check the cost reporting of the Regulatory Affairs department of the Draslovka AgSol.
  • You track, report, analyse and forecast budget variances to ensure financial performance is on track.
  • You review and verify the accuracy of financial statements to uphold financial integrity.
  • You prepare timely monthly/quarterly financial reporting and maintain fullyear budget and 5year projections.
  • You recommend changes in policies or procedures to enhance financial performance.
  • You forecast future financial performance to aid in strategic decisionmaking.
  • You provide accurate financial reports to management, complying with government regulations.
  • You oversee all financial planning and analysis, including jurisdictional responsibility for assigned entities.
  • You manage daytoday financial operations, such as accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and cash flow forecasting.
  • You process endofmonth finances, including credit card reconciliation, payroll submission, superannuation, and general financial reporting.
  • You handle taxation returns and statutory compliance requirements.
  • You identify and pursue Research and Development Tax Incentive options and other tax offset initiatives and grants.
  • You analyse and present the company's performance data to the executive management team and board of directors.
  • You oversee stocktake processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • You develop, implement, and monitor financial systems, procedures, and internal controls for efficient Finance function operation.
  • You provide insights and financial advice to support the executive management team's decisionmaking.
  • You act as a liaison between Draslovka AgSol and financial institutions.
  • You ensure timely delivery of adhoc financial information requests.

Qualifications:

  • CPA or CA qualification with extensive knowledge of IFRS framework.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and communication at all times.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, up to 4 times a year, for up to 7 nights per trip
