With experience delivering therapy services in an Aged Care environment, particularly for older individuals living with dementia, you are committed to maintaining exceptional customer service standards and improving the quality of life for elderly members of our communities. Your proficiency in communication and digital skills, encompassing app and computer usage, further enhances your ability to connect with and support our residents effectively.

As a Therapy Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in improving the wellbeing of our residents by delivering tailored therapy interventions in alignment with their individual Care Plans. You'll provide not only physical support, but also social and emotional assistance, fostering holistic care experiences. From facilitating group therapy sessions to guiding residents through individual activities, you'll ensure their engagement and comfort throughout. Collaborating closely with the physiotherapist and clinical management team, you'll contribute valuable insights to Care Plan development and evaluation, ensuring the efficacy of therapy activities and resident responses.

We are hoping you will join our fantastic Whiddon family at Redhead, on a permanent part time basis, working 48 hours a fortnight (Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times)

We are looking for candidates who hold a Cert III in Allied Health Assistance or in Individual Support with completed mandatory training programs or equivalent. Candidates must be able to undertake physical demands of the role.
