Program Coordinator

  • Temporary Full-Time up to 12 months
  • Location: Parramatta
  • Clerk Grade 7/8, Salary ($106,025 pa $117,363 pa), plus employer s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role
The Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) is the lead agency under the Stronger Communities Cluster.

DCJ works to enable everyone's right to access justice and help for families through early intervention and inclusion, with benefits for the whole community.

Stronger Communities is focussed on achieving safe, just, inclusive and resilient communities by providing services that are effective and responsive to community needs.

The Program Coordinator performs project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives as well as, to focus on secretarial functions for governance forums to support the PaTH Program (Process and Technology Harmonisation Program)

What you ll do

  • Perform project management and support activities including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information and contribute to the achievement of project outcomes within agreed upon deadlines and quality standards
  • Secretarial and Governance forums meeting pack creations, including minute taking.
  • Communicates with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans
  • Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables
  • Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs, to support informed decisionmaking and planning
  • Documents and format content/ reports using Microsoft Suite including but not limited to MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project to update stakeholders

What we re looking for

  • Highly organised with strong coordination skills to take ownership or and see tasks through to completion.
  • Attention to detail with intermediate to advance MS PowerPoint and MS Word skills.
  • Excellent time management and ability to multitask.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in SAP implementation projects will be highly advantageous.
