Role Description/Criteria

We are looking for an OHS Manager to proactively manage our safety and compliance requirements.

  • Owning the safety and compliance portfolio across a busy and growing school
  • Managing risks and giving specialist safety advice
  • Reviewing our current way of process and documents and improving systems along the way
  • Getting your hands dirty doing risk assessments, undertaking safety audits and incident investigations, and writing standard operating procedures and hazard reports, and
  • Creating metrics for reporting to Board committees.


Your responsibilities will include planning, executing and monitoring our ongoing compliance to applicable employment and OHS regulation and legislation, standards and codes of practice, plus promoting a proactive and contemporary health and safety culture for the benefit of staff and students alike.


We would be very interested to meet you if you have at least five years in an OHS role, a commitment to display our Salesian ethos, and a desire to contribute to the College's mission.
