ALG Talent has a great opportunity for an
Accounting Administrative Assistant on a part time basis to join a well-established organisation based at Mascot Airport.

This is a causal ongoing contract offering 2-3 days per week with the potential for more hours in the future and the potential for permanency should you excel in the role.

You'll enjoy a day roster spread out between Monday to Friday, allowing for a great work-life balance.

As an Accounting Administrative Assistant you will bring previous administration/accounts experience in an aviation, engineering or construction environment. Additionally, you will be comfortable with completing duties relating to accounting (payable/receivable) activities (some training provided). This role is perfect for someone who is looking to re-enter the workforce or chasing part time hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Raising and closing off scheduled and unscheduled jobs.
  • Assisting in coordinating spare parts.
  • Assisting in maintaining stock control of tools and equipment.
  • General administrative duties.
  • Process invoices and payments in accordance with company policies.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with Oracle (mandatory).
  • Previous experience working in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in aviation and or logistics environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong computer skills.
