There is now a rare opportunity to join the company in a newly created role as a Conference Centre Manager, based in Sydney's CBD.

Reporting directly to the State Regional Manager, you will be a part of the wider Member Engagement team, and be accountable for the successful operation and coordination of the training and conference Centre

Specifically you will:

  • Build and manage the Conference Centre service team
  • Manage Centre operations on a daily basis and ensure functions are carried out efficiently and to a high standard
  • Promote, market and sell the conference Centre services
  • Work with the Member Engagement team to ensure a quality member experience and exception value is provided
  • Maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Commercially own the budgets, processes and procedures ensuring profitability and success

To be considered for interview, you will have:

  • Demonstrable experience within events and/or the hospitality space, with leadership exposure
  • Team leading experience, where you may have mentored and trained developing staff
  • Strong people skills with advanced communication both written and verbal, coupled with the ability to adapt to stakeholders at different levels within a business
  • The ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • A problemsolving mindset with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Proven experience in streamlining processes and increasing efficiency
  • Certifications: RSA, Food handling and Safety. Having the ability to hold a liquor license as an individual in line with NSW governed regulations will be looked upon favorably
