JOB DESCRIPTION


As the Assistant Conference and Events Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure all Food and Beverage functions are carried out as per the clients' instructions.

Reporting in into the Conference and Events Manager, you will be responsible for efficiently utilising resources, liasing with the hotels' technical equipment team and maintaining a high level of communication to ensure client events are exceptionally delivered.

Requirements:

THE PERSON - QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must possess current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification
  • Exceptional people management skills
  • A "can do" attitude
  • Similar management position experience within a catering/banquet operation
  • Time management
  • Able to lead and motivate team members.
  • Excellent grooming
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Able to work day and night shifts involving early starts and late finishes
  • Ability to travel to and from the hotel at varying times
