The Administration Support Officer will provide administrative support to Orygen Recovery (OR) to ensure the effective delivery of all operational and administrative functions.


Reporting to the Orygen Recovery Coordinator you will:

  • Coordinate administrative processes at Orygen Recovery.
  • Assist young people and their carers and other health professionals with enquiries and appointments (both face to face and via telephone), responding to all enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Obtain and manage client information in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring confidentiality and privacy standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate appointment information including the follow up of clients in accordance with OR procedures.

The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:

  • Knowledge and previous experience working in a medical/health administration setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence a broad range of professionals and stakeholders.
  • Excellent computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office suite of programs and high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a high standard of confidential reception and administrative services, including a high level of word processing skills.
