The Role

You will be working in an inclusive and hardworking environment with an opportunity get involved in an ERP implementation and process improvement.

Lead this small yet hard working Accounts Payable whilst being hands on in your approach.

  • Supervise Accounts Payable Officers and effectively distribute workflow and allocate tasks
  • Acting as an escalation point for more complicated functions related to Accounts Payable
  • Processing company credit cards, American Express, month end stock adjustment journal, biannual compliance rebates
  • Performing petty cash and Warehouse rebate reconciliations.
  • Review creditor statement reconciliation
  • Managing stakeholder expectations
  • Performing month end accounting procedures and producing reports as required
  • Obtaining authorisation for payment from appropriate and allocating expenditure to the correct budget account
  • Provide back up on all Accounts Payable functions
  • Provide training and mentoring to team members
  • Identify and recommend improvements to the quality system and procedures
  • Undertake other projects as requested by leadership
To be considered for this stand out opportunity, you will need the following skills, experience and personal attributes:

  • Solid experience in a similar role where you have lead a small Accounts Payable team
  • Be hands on in your approach.
  • Excellent people and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong time management and ability to multitask.
  • Intermediateadvanced Excel
  • Experience with system and process improvement and implementation
  • Cando attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
