The Procure to Pay Lead role, reporting to Senior Manager - Partner Relationships, will play a key role managing all aspects of account services including leading a small team of accounts administrators, provider accounts billing and management, reporting and general administration.

This leadership role is focused on 70% business improvement, reporting and active leadership, with 30% finance processing responsibilities.

Duties and responsibilities:

Reporting:

  • Identifying and reporting any errors entered and corrective action can be taken.
  • Effective reporting schedule to manage all KPIs and controls
  • Reporting of all provider billing metrics including total spend, total rebilled, average costs, volume of invoices processes and ageing status of provider invoices

Leadership and strategy:

  • Manage and lead a team of Procure to Pay Administrators
  • Coordinate & implement operational plans / projects / initiatives in support of overarching company and departmental objectives.
  • Develop audit controls and process improvement initiatives

Procure to Pay Services:

  • Manage and ensure the correct and timely payment of our providers in the Automotive, Health & Lifecare and Home lines of business.
  • Entry of financial data into various corporate systems in line with SOPs and timeframe KPIs.
  • Auditing of provider costs and identifying any risks of leakage and opportunities for prevention and recovery.

Accounts Management:

  • Ensuring payments to providers are processed in line with timeframe KPIs.
  • Ensuring any amounts that are to be rebilled to clients are processed
  • Ensuring any amounts which must be rebilled to providers or offset from future invoices
  • Ensure all billing rejections are managed in a timely manner
  • Auditing of provider costs and identifying any risks of leakage and opportunities for prevention and recovery.
  • Taking corrective or preventative action to address any costing discrepancies or concerns before payment is made.

What makes a successful Procure to Pay Lead?

  • Commitment for a
    fixed term contract 8 months until February 2024:
  • Experience working in a Accounts Payable or Finance environment highly desirable
  • Ability to mentor and coach a small team driving efficiencies
  • Think strategically, problem solve, develop and implement solutions
  • Project experience to improve process or system changes
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel/Word skills of intermediate to advanced standards
  • Experience in utilising costing systems
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proven professional work ethic & high level of confidentiality
