About this opportunity:

Due to expansion at our South Brisbane site, we are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator. In this role, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and be in charge of managing day-to-day mechanical maintenance resources.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervise all Lactalis trades employees and contractors under your responsibility, overseeing rostering, timesheets, performance, and training.
  • Ensure timely completion of planned and unplanned works to guarantee smooth factory operation and minimize downtime.
  • Provide technical support for maintenance operations, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
  • Manage maintenance activities within the allocated budget.
  • Monitor mechanical spares stock levels on-site to meet requirements.
  • Proactively drive improvements in Safety, Quality, and Efficiency by participating in site project work.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Trade Qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Industrial Electrician.
  • Possess significant experience in engineering maintenance, particularly in the Dairy and FMCG industry with exposure to automation.
  • Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office, and Safety systems.
