About this role:

Reflecting the growth at our South Brisbane location, we are in search for a Maintenance Coordinator. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role involves overseeing the day-to-day management of mechanical maintenance resources.

Main responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of all trades employees and contractors under this role, managing tasks such as rostering, performance evaluations, and training.
  • Ensure timely completion of planned and unplanned maintenance works to uphold smooth operations at the factory.
  • Offer technical support and supervision to ensure prompt and accurate maintenance responses.
  • Monitor and adhere to the assigned maintenance budget for all maintenance activities.
  • Manage the ordering and stocking of mechanical spares to meet operational requirements.
  • Actively engage in enhancing Safety, Quality, and Efficiency by participating in site projects to drive continuous improvement.

Your profile:

  • Holding a Trade Qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Industrial Electrician.
  • A solid background in engineering maintenance, particularly within the Dairy and FMCG industry, with exposure to automation being advantageous.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Office, and Safety systems.
