About the role


We are seeking a dedicated Practitioner for our Alcohol and Other Drugs Program You will provide counselling, support, case management and a range of interventions to assist in improving the health and well-being for individuals experiencing alcohol and other drugs related harm.

Responsibilities include

  • Evidence based interventions delivered in line with client centred treatment that aligns with AOD training and qualifications
  • Case management support provided to clients
  • Individual treatment plans are developed in collaboration with clients and include a range of interventions
  • Clients assisted to access support services and community supports
  • Strong relationships built with clients and their families, to assist client through treatment using family inclusive interventions
This is a fixed-term full-time position, contracted until May 2025, based in Bendigo, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Award Level 5.

What you will have

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification in Social Work or related discipline
  • Minimum qualification Diploma Community Services
  • Relevant experience in Social Service environment
  • AOD Skillset or willingness to undertake within the first 12 months of commencing employment
  • A Current Victorian Driver's Licence
