They recognized that the ability to integrate every part of the supply chain from order planning to delivery in the cloud would give their customers the visibility they needed to real-time data, supply chain transparency, and the ability to control costs in ways they've never been able to do before.


The Position - Cartage Coordinator

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this varied role will be responsible for providing the Customer Service aspects for transport and associated import functions for FCL, LCL, and airfreight shipments.

This role is a great opportunity to build your career and develop your skills in the industry.

With my client's business flourishing, they're in search of a seasoned Cartage Coordinator to join the operations team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor availability of cargo for both air and sea (FCL & LCL)
  • Ensure all Customs and AQIS requirements are completed, including ACA and SCA
  • Liaise with AQIS/Customs regarding inspections and holds
  • Liaise with clients to obtain Bills of Lading and arrange payment of disbursement invoices through our AP system
  • Liaise with transport companies to coordinate time slots for pickup and delivery of cargo and confirm deliveries with clients
  • Monitor and coordinate the return of empty containers
  • Collate clearance and transport documentation for timely deliveries
  • Ensure all costs are recorded and creditor's invoices are approved for payment
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar Cartage role
  • Knowledge of customs and freight forwarding terminology
  • Cartage Coordinator experience
  • High attention to detail with effective organization skills
  • Strong problemsolving and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy work environment
  • Strong client focus on delivering highquality services
  • A team player
  • EDI and RACA experience preferred however not essential
  • DG Accredited experience preferred however not essential
