A little bit about who we are:
Cortes Dance is a school led By Pedro Gonzalez and Tiffany De Caires. It is a passionate community that celebrates a love for Latin dancing. With the desire to bring out the spark and joy within everyone who walks through our doors.


Pedro and Tiffany are from Venezuela who bring authentic sabor latino (Latin Flavor) to the Melbourne arts and entertainment community.

Cortés has a knowledgeable, charismatic and professional line-up of teachers. They have trained and performed all over the world. All the teachers are here to empower you, to motivate you to release all the groove in you. Our classes are suited for our absolute beginners to seasoned dancers. Cortés is a place to have fun and to make friends.

Moving to the beat of Latin music is so euphoric and you burn calories while you stimulate your mind without even noticing it.


Responsibilities & Duties during shift hours include:

  • Setting up the studio for the classes
  • Greeting incoming clients with a smile and positive attitude.
  • Monitoring the facility to ensure a professional working environment
  • Helping teachers post digital content on social media
  • Sound knowledge about all classes offered at Cortes Dance
  • Client Registration and sales
  • Ensuring adequate stock levels for beverages and gear
  • Answering any inquiries or concerns clients have about the studio or classes
  • Flagging sensitive or priority issues for management response
  • Participate in training activities to enhance skills, knowledge and abilities on an ongoing basis
  • Responsible for basic cleanliness and tidiness of studio

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Preferred not required: Fluent Spanish language literacy
  • Expert in English Language
  • Superb telephone etiquette and conversation management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Flexible, professional, proactive, polite and positive attitude.
